I call this pattern “truth”. I see truth as an absolute, unwavering. A circle is the only shape that is the same regardless of how it is viewed. Thus, I use a circle to represent truth.
We can gather as a group, and attend the same event. So our “truth” is going to be identical, right? Except my truth is different than your truth, and in fact everyone’s truth is different. Thus, the circles are all different.
The flip side is mostly just a fun way to use the palate of colors - yet it could also be viewed as inclusion. The whole requires that each piece works with all the other pieces.
