This is a hidden gem. The colors don’t photograph very well, but in person, it’s a delight!

The woven ring is done in hemlock and makore. I wanted it to sort of blend in with the background, which is done in gogo. The center disc is lacewood - whcih dances when you spin it in the light! Almost looks like a school of fish, darting this way and that.

The flip side is makore - a warm brown that is very neutral, and compliments anything placed on it!
