I think this works really well. 22 pieces of purpleheart and mahogany veneer make a wonderful wreath that surrounds a red flower. The stem is walnut, the leave are kewazinga. The whole is a wonderful blend of colors that all come together on a field of maple. It would work as well hung on a wall as it does a lazy susan! The flip side is quartersawn mahogany - a wonderful mix of brown tones that makes a wonderful backdrop to any serving dish, or a bouquet of flowers! This design is available by request.
